NALA’s Learn with NALA programme has been awarded the UNESCO International Literacy Prize 2025, recognising its outstanding contribution to supporting adults in Ireland to develop their literacy and digital skills.
The Learn with NALA programme provides free, flexible learning opportunities for adults who wish to improve their reading, writing, maths, and digital skills – helping to make lifelong learning accessible to everyone.
This recognition underscores the vital importance of adult literacy and basic skills in building inclusive, equitable, and informed societies — a mission shared across the EBSN network.
