EPALE Discussion on Rethinking Libraries as Innovative Learning Spaces

We are inviting you to join us for the upcoming EPALE discussion titled Rethinking Libraries as Innovative Learning Spaces on 28 May between 10:00-16:00 CET.
Libraries are increasingly recognised as innovative learning spaces in adult education, going far beyond their traditional role as repositories of knowledge. They offer accessible, low-threshold environments where adults can engage in learning at their own pace, often supported by digital tools, community programmes and informal guidance. The program will begin with a livestream interview where we introduce two inspiring initiatives:

  • the museum of ‘A Library of life, love and loss’  which transforms a digital platform into a learner-centred space built on personal storytelling and lived experiences
  • the Human Library initiative, which transforms learning into a live, dialogue-based experience, where people become “books” and knowledge is exchanged through real conversations.

Join us on EPALE and share your experiences!
