We are inviting you to join us for the upcoming EPALE discussion titled Rethinking Libraries as Innovative Learning Spaces on 28 May between 10:00-16:00 CET.
Libraries are increasingly recognised as innovative learning spaces in adult education, going far beyond their traditional role as repositories of knowledge. They offer accessible, low-threshold environments where adults can engage in learning at their own pace, often supported by digital tools, community programmes and informal guidance. The program will begin with a livestream interview where we introduce two inspiring initiatives:
- the museum of ‘A Library of life, love and loss’ which transforms a digital platform into a learner-centred space built on personal storytelling and lived experiences
- the Human Library initiative, which transforms learning into a live, dialogue-based experience, where people become “books” and knowledge is exchanged through real conversations.
