How can microcredentials support lifelong learning, skills development and more flexible access to learning?
On 29 September 2026, from 10:00 to 11:30 CET, Cedefop will host the online event “Upskilling Europe: Microcredentials in action”, bringing together policymakers, social partners, researchers, education and training professionals and industry representatives.
The discussion will present findings from Cedefop’s ongoing work on microcredentials, including examples from the cultural and creative industries and the construction sector. It will also examine how microcredentials can respond to labour market needs, widen access to learning and contribute to social inclusion.
