Swiss Association of Reading and Writing
Description
The Swiss Umbrella Organisation for Reading and Writing (DVLS) advocates for basic skills in Switzerland. Basic skills include: reading, writing, numeracy, speaking, and digital literacy.
The association

National/international impact
The association plays a key role in Switzerland in promoting basic skills among adults by:

- serving as a center of expertise
The association supports providers and members, as well as cantons and the federal government, as a cooperative partner. It connects stakeholders from various sectors and federal levels (federal government, cantons, municipalities).
The association is active in all language regions. It was founded in November 2006 and is a nonprofit, politically and religiously independent association.
